Kid Stuff
Easter fun for kids!
Kids love Easter - and not just because they might get a day off school, or because of all the delicious treats in their Easter baskets. Kids love Easter because of the fun they have with the Easter bunny, with their moms and dads, and with other family and friends. Show your children some attention by planning a day full of fun activities that will make them dream of next Easter as soon as this one is over!
Games can be a great way to foster bonding between family members of all ages. Adults feel like a kid again, when they pair up for the sticky egg throw or after they run an obstacle course with an egg on a spoon hanging out of their mouth in the spoon race. And kids will feel grown up when they showdown against their adult family members - nothing is more exciting than winning a challenge against Dad!
Some of our favorite Easter games are twists on old favorites, like egg bocce. And the shell crack game is a challenge your whole family will look forward to every year, especially because the winner is supposed to have good luck for the whole next year!
There are lots of great activities that you can do with a roomful of kids on Easter Sunday. Try holding a family coloring contest where you award prizes for the most creatively colored chick (it’s okay to go outside the lines!), the happiest-looking egg, the funniest bunny, and so on. Or have tons of crafting supplies available and let kids create an Easter bonnet for another contest - have them come up with some really zany designs, and then wear them together for a laugh! And don’t forget, you can always rely on the traditional egg hunt - use the eggs the kids found during the Easter bunny’s egg hunt, and let them re-hide the eggs for the adults to find.
Sprinkle a few of our Easter Jokes into the mix and the kids will have a good belly laugh, making the day even more memorable.
